§ 23-19.1-33 Notice of hazardous wastedisposal violation. – Whenever the director issues a notice of violation and order pursuant to thischapter that disposal of hazardous waste has occurred onto or into realproperty or in any landfill not permitted under the provisions of this chapter,the director shall cause the notice or a summary of the substance of the noticeto be sent to the chief executive officer of the city or town and president ofthe city or town council and to be filed in the land evidence records of thecity or town where the real property or landfill is located with respect to thereal property or landfill, stating the substance and findings of the director'sdetermination. When the notice of violation and order has been complied with orvacated, the director shall file a notice rescinding the notice of violationand order in the land evidence records with respect to the real property orlandfill.
