SECTION 23-21.1-6

   § 23-21.1-6  Standards. – (a) The department shall adopt minimum sanitation standards for pathogensand/or pathogen indicators present in the bathing water, consistent with§§ 23-1-17 and 23-1-18, in order to protect the public from illnessesassociated with swimming in contaminated bathing waters. This may includestandards for:

   (b) Pathogens and/or pathogen indicators including, but notlimited to, total coliform, fecal coliform, and enterococci.
