§ 23-22.5-6 Recreational safety council– Appeals – Composition of council. – Any party aggrieved as a result of any rule, regulation, or order of thedepartment of environmental management shall have the right of appeal to therecreational safety council created in this section. The council shall consistof five (5) members, one of whom shall be the director of the state departmentof environmental management, ex officio, who shall serve as chairperson; one ofwhom shall be the director of the state department of health or his or herdesignated representative, ex officio; and three (3) of whom shall be appointedby the governor, of whom one shall be manager of a public beach, camp, oramusement park other than a state operated beach, camp, or amusement park; oneof whom shall be an owner or manager of a privately operated beach, camp, oramusement park and one of whom shall be a representative of the general public.
