§ 23-23.1-9 Penalty for violations. –Any person who violates any order of the governor or knowingly fails to complywith the directions of those authorized to enforce this chapter or knowinglyinterferes with the enforcement of the order or directions shall be punished bya fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500) or by imprisonment for notmore than ninety (90) days or by both fine and imprisonment, and every personshall be guilty of a separate and distinct offense for each day during whichthe violation shall be repeated or continued.
