§ 23-24.2-10 Exclusions. – The provisions of this chapter shall not apply:
(1) To any common carrier, contract carrier, or freightforwarder in transporting a product, fabric, or related material shipped ordelivered for shipment into commerce in the ordinary course of its business;
(2) To any converter, processor, or finisher in performing acontract or commission service for the account of a person subject to theprovisions of this chapter; provided, that the converter, processor, orfinisher does not cause any product, fabric, or related material to becomesubject to this chapter contrary to the terms of the contract or commissionservice; or
(3) To any product, fabric, or related material shipped ordelivered for shipment into commerce for the purpose of finishing or processingthat product, fabric, or related material so that it conforms with applicableflammability standards issued or amended under the provisions of §23-24.2-4.
