SECTION 23-24.5-16

   § 23-24.5-16  Delegation of authority.– Except for the provisions of this chapter relating to rule making, penalties,standards, and appeals, the director may after filing notice with the secretaryof state delegate to another state agency any of the chapter's administrativeduties, including, but not limited to, inspection, testing, and building permitresponsibilities, if the director finds that the delegation would provide for amore effective and efficient administration of the provisions of this chapter.Notwithstanding any other law, pursuant to this delegation the director mayallocate money appropriated to the department of health to the delegate agencyfor the purpose of funding the delegation.
