SECTION 23-28.11-5

   § 23-28.11-5  Duration – Expiration– Renewal – Duplication. – Every certificate issued shall be valid for one year, and shall be renewablewithout examination, except as herein provided, on March first after theoriginal date of issue upon payment of fifty dollars ($50.00). Any holder of acertificate whose certificate was lost, misplaced, or stolen may obtain aduplicate certificate from the state fire marshal upon payment of ten dollars($10.00). No renewal shall be issued after July 1, 2003, unless the applicantfor the renewal shall demonstrate adequate familiarity to the satisfaction ofthe Fire Marshal with applicable NFPA requirements, which demonstration may bemade by passing an appropriate examination.
