SECTION 23-28.28-6

   § 23-28.28-6  Permit to use explosives.– Permit shall mean the authority granted by the state fire marshal, in writing,to use explosives. A permit for the use of explosives shall not be issued toany individual except those duly licensed and duly qualified to possessexplosives by the state fire marshal. The state fire marshal shall retain acopy of each permit issued and shall immediately forward a copy of each permitto the city or town clerk in the city or town where work is to be performed.The city or town clerk shall be responsible for notifying local governmentofficials and/or public safety officials of impending blast.
