SECTION 23-28.3-3.1

§ 23-28.3-3.1 Rules and regulations,rehabilitation of existing buildings and structures. – The state fire safety code board has the power to adopt, promulgate, amend, andrepeal the fire safety code elements of the rehabilitation building and firecode for existing buildings and structures, which shall be administered as asub-code of the fire safety code. Any existing building or structure, subjectto the provisions of the rehabilitation building and fire code for existingbuildings and structures, shall also comply with the existing occupancyprovisions of the Rhode Island Fire Safety Code addressing the current orproposed occupancy.
