SECTION 23-33-9.1

   § 23-33-9.1  Owner's responsibility. –(a) Each owner of an elevator, or other device subject to the provisions ofthis chapter, shall maintain the elevator or device in such a manner by coderequirement to insure the safety of all those who use this mode oftransportation.

   (b) Each owner shall comply with all safety codes, rules, andregulations promulgated under this chapter.
