§ 23-34.1-2 Purpose. – (1) The purpose of this chapter is to guard against personal injuries in theassembly, disassembly, and use of amusement devices, amusement attractions, andtemporary structures at public fairs and expositions, carnivals, festivals,celebrations, bazaars, and permanent facilities. Such devices, attractions, andstructures shall be designed, constructed, assembled or disassembled,maintained, and operated so as to prevent such injuries.
