SECTION 23-4.5-1

   § 23-4.5-1  Blood donations by minors.– Any person of the age of seventeen (17) or over shall be eligible to donateblood in any voluntary and non-compensatory blood program without the necessityof obtaining permission or authorization of his/her parent or guardian. Anyperson sixteen (16) years of age may donate his or her blood upon obtainingprior permission of his or her parent or guardian.
