SECTION 23-63-4

§ 23-63-4 Licensing of tire recyclers.– The director shall license any person to engage in the vehicle tire recyclingor recovery business if the director finds that the person has the properequipment and facilities to properly recycle or recover the materials ofvehicle tires. The license shall be annually renewable on January 1 of eachyear upon application by the licensee. The director may revoke the license atany time or refuse to renew the license upon a finding that the licensee hasnot operated the busienss to safely and properly recycle and recover vehicletires in a manner causing the lease practicable pollution of the environment.The initial license fee shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) and the fee for annualrenewal shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00). Other than as set forth in thischapter, the license shall be subject to the provisions of the AdministrativeProcedures Act, chapter 35 of title 42.
