SECTION 23-8-19

   § 23-8-19  Compliance with quarantine bytransportation agencies. – Whenever quarantine is declared, all railroad and steamboat corporations, stagelines, the owners, assignees, officials, and employees of those companies, andall vehicles and modes of conveyance of passengers, baggage, and freight, shallobserve and comply with the rules and regulations made by the director ofhealth; and any person knowingly violating any of the rules and regulations ofthe director shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than fifty dollars($50.00), or be imprisoned not more than two (2) years.
