SECTION 24-3-6

   § 24-3-6  Filing and notice of report.– The town council or city council shall, within fourteen (14) days after themaking of a report, cause personal notice to be served upon all persons namedin the report, residing in the state, and shall also cause a copy of the noticeto be published, as provided in § 24-3-7, to the effect that the reporthas been filed in the clerk's office, and that any person aggrieved by thereport must file, with the clerk of the superior court for the county where thetown or city is situated, a notice in writing of his or her intention to claima jury trial as provided in § 24-3-8; and he or she shall also cause acopy of the report to be filed with the clerk of the superior court.
