SECTION 24-5-21

   § 24-5-21  Penalty for neglect of boundaryline bridge. – If any town adjoining any boundary line bridge shall refuse or neglect to keepin good repair the part of the bridge within and next adjoining the line of thetown, the town so neglecting or refusing shall be fined not less than twentydollars ($20.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), and executionshall issue for the amount of the fine and costs against the town; but nothingcontained in this section shall be so construed as to impair any agreement madebetween any towns relative to the supporting and repairing of bridges.
