§ 25-2-5 Old Home Week designated. –The calendar week beginning with the first Sunday of July in each year, or anysubsequent week during the months of July, August, or September in each year,is designated as "Old Home Week," and is set apart as a season during whichcities and towns may conduct appropriate celebrations in honor of returningsons and daughters of the state and other invited guests and may hold exercisesof historical interest.
