SECTION 27-14.2-1

§ 27-14.2-1 Purpose. – (a) The purpose of this chapter is to set forth the standards which thedirector of the department of business regulation may use for identifyinginsurers found to be in a condition as to render the continuance of theirbusiness hazardous to the public or to holders of their policies orcertificates of insurance.

(b) This chapter shall not be interpreted to limit the powersgranted to the director by any laws or parts of laws of this state.
