SECTION 27-14.3-46.1

§ 27-14.3-46.1 Insurer assessments. –Notwithstanding language to the contrary in this or any other title of thegeneral laws, an insurer that is subject to an order of liquidation pursuant tothis chapter shall not be subject to any assessment or fee imposed pursuant toany section of the general laws. Notwithstanding this provision, the amount ofany assessment or fee may be assumed and redistributed among all other insurerssubject to the assessment or fee. This section shall only apply to thoseassessments and/or fees, which are first billed on or subsequent to the date ofany order of liquidation. For purposes of this section the terms "assessment"and "fee" shall not include taxes defined in any title of the general laws.
