SECTION 27-2.1-1

   § 27-2.1-1  New application fee. – Any foreign insurance company applying for licensure within the state of RhodeIsland to transact insurance business must upon filing of an application submitto the insurance commissioner a non-refundable application fee of one thousanddollars ($1,000). Any foreign insurance company that has previously filed anapplication for licensure within the state of Rhode Island and whoseapplication is currently pending must also submit a non-refundable filing feeof one thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200) to keep the application current.
