§ 27-42-4 Examination. – Any person or entity which is unable to show that it is subject to thejurisdiction of another department of this state, any subdivision of thisstate, or the federal government, shall submit to an examination by thedirector to determine the organization and solvency of the person or theentity, and to determine whether or not the person or entity complies with theapplicable provisions of this title and chapter 62 of title 42.
