SECTION 27-6-13

   § 27-6-13  Suspension or modification ofrequirements – Examinations as to fairness. – Under the rules and regulations that he or she shall adopt, the commissionermay, by written order, suspend or modify the requirement of filing as to anykind of insurance, or subdivision or combination of it, or as to classes ofrisks, the rates for which cannot practicably be filed before they are used.Those orders, rules, and regulations shall be made known to insurers and ratingorganizations affected by them. The commissioner may make an examination as heor she may deem advisable to ascertain whether any rates affected by an ordermeet the standards set forth in § 27-6-4(2).
