SECTION 28-12-8

   § 28-12-8  Judicial review of regulations.– (a) Any interested person in any occupation for which any wage order or anyadministrative regulation has been issued under the provisions of this chapterwho maybe aggrieved by any order or regulation may obtain the review of theorder or regulation in the superior court for Providence and Bristol countiesby filing in the court within thirty (30) days after the date of publication ofthe order or regulation a written petition praying that the order or regulationbe modified or set aside. A copy of the petition shall be served upon thedirector of labor and training. The findings of facts shall be conclusive uponthe court. The court shall determine whether the order or regulation is inaccordance with law.

   (b) Hearings in the superior court on all appeals taken underthe provisions of this chapter shall take precedence over all matters, exceptmatters of the same character. The jurisdiction of the court shall be exclusiveand its judgment and decree shall be final except that the judgment and decreeshall be subject to review by the supreme court.

   (c) The commencement of proceedings under subsection (a) ofthis section shall not operate as a stay of a wage order or of anadministrative regulation issued under the provisions of this chapter.
