SECTION 28-2-6

   § 28-2-6  Penalty for failure to doassigned work. – Any person failing or refusing to do, or to continue to do, the work assignedto him, or who, in the meanwhile, has not become regularly or continuouslyemployed in some lawful, useful and recognized business, occupation, trade,profession, or employment, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and uponconviction shall pay a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100), or beimprisoned for a term not exceeding three (3) months, or both.
