SECTION 28-37-22

§ 28-37-22 Extension of time for filing ofreturn. – The director may grant a reasonable extension of time for filing any returnrequired under this chapter. Whenever an extension of time is granted theinsurer shall be required to pay, as part of any payment due, interest on theamount at the rate of one percent (1%) per month from the date payment underthis chapter is due. Whenever an extension is granted any certified employer,the time for making any payment required by this chapter shall not be extendedthereby.
