SECTION 28-39-19

   § 28-39-19  Information held confidential.– Every employee of the department of labor and training is expressly prohibitedfrom divulging to any individual not officially connected with the department:(1) any information obtained by the employee in the regular course of duty, orfrom the records and reports of employing units, or from the permanent recordsof the department, which would reveal the identity of any individual oremploying unit; (2) the number of persons employed by any employing unit; (3)matters relating to employment of any employing unit; (4) the wages earned orpaid to any individual; (5) the hours worked by an individual; (6) the type ofsickness suffered by any individual; or (7) any other information relative tothe temporary disability claim or payment of it; provided, that thisprohibition shall not apply to information concerning wages earned or paidrequested in a family court proceeding pursuant to §§ 15-5-24 and15-5-25 or to information concerning wages earned or paid requested in asuperior court proceeding pursuant to §§ 12-25-3 and 12-25-7.
