§ 28-4-1 Power of minor to executeindenture. – Any minor being sixteen (16) years of age or over, or who, being under sixteen(16) years of age, has a limited permit to work given him or her by or underthe direction of the school committee where the minor resides under theprovisions of chapter 3 of this title, may, by execution of an indenture, bindhimself or herself as provided in this chapter, for a term of service of notless than one year.
