SECTION 28-41-29

   § 28-41-29  Questions reviewed by court– Additional evidence – Precedence – Appeal to supreme court.– The jurisdiction of the reviewing court shall be confined to questions of lawand, in the absence of fraud, the findings of fact by the board of review, ifsupported by substantial evidence regardless of statutory or common-law rules,shall be conclusive. Additional evidence required by the court shall be takenbefore the board, and the board, after hearing that additional evidence, shallfile with the court any additional or modified findings of fact or conclusionsthat it may make, together with transcripts of the additional record. Allproceedings under §§ 28-41-26 – 28-41-29 shall be summarilyheard and given precedence over all other civil cases. Appeals involvingbenefit rights shall be given precedence over all other cases arising underchapters 39 – 41 of this title. An appeal may be taken from the decisionof the superior court to the supreme court in the same manner as an appeal istaken under § 28-35-29, relating to appeals in cases under the workers'compensation law.
