SECTION 28-42-55

   § 28-42-55  Enforcement of subpoenas –Appeal. – In case of contumacy by or refusal to obey a subpoena issued to any person,pursuant to § 28-42-54, the sixth division of the district court, uponapplication by the director or the board of review shall have jurisdiction toissue to that person an order requiring that person to appear before thedirector or his or her duly authorized representative, or the board of reviewor its duly authorized representatives, there to produce evidence if so orderedor there to give testimony touching the matter under investigation or inquestion; and any failure to obey that order of the court may be punished bythat court as a contempt of court. A party aggrieved by an order of the courtmay appeal that order to the supreme court in accordance with the procedurescontained in Art. I of the Supreme Court Rules.
