SECTION 28-42-65.1

   § 28-42-65.1  Engaging in business withoutregistration. – A person who engages in business as an employer in this state without aregistration or registrations or after a registration has been suspended orrevoked, and each officer of any corporation which so engages in business,shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall for each offense be fined not morethan five thousand dollars ($5,000) or be imprisoned for not exceeding oneyear, or be punished by both the fine and imprisonment. Each day in which thatperson so engages in business shall constitute a separate offense.
