SECTION 28-44-19

   § 28-44-19  Receipt of compensation. –(a) An individual shall be disqualified from receiving benefits for any week ofhis or her unemployment occurring within any period with respect to which thatindividual is currently receiving, or has received, remuneration in the form of:

   (1) Compensation for temporary partial disability under aworkers' compensation law of any state or under a similar law of the UnitedStates; or

   (2) Benefits under an unemployment compensation law of anystate or of the United States.

   (b) If the remuneration designated in subsection (a) of thissection is less than the benefits which would otherwise be due under chapters42 – 44 of this title, he or she shall be entitled to receive for thatweek, if otherwise eligible, benefits reduced by the amount of thatremuneration.
