SECTION 28-6.1-2

   § 28-6.1-2  Penalty – Exception.– Any employer who subjects any person employed by him or her, or any personapplying for employment, to a lie detector test, or causes, directly orindirectly, any employee or applicant to take a lie detector test, is guilty ofa misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars($1,000). This section does not apply to lie detector tests administered by lawenforcement agencies in the performance of their official duties.
