SECTION 28-9.2-12

   § 28-9.2-12  Collective bargainingcontract. – Any agreements actually negotiated between the bargaining agent and thecorporate authorities either before or within thirty (30) days afterarbitration shall constitute the collective bargaining contract governingpolice and the city or town for the period stated in the contract; provided,that the period shall not exceed one year. Any collective bargaining agreementnegotiated under the terms and provisions of this chapter shall specificallyprovide that the police officers who are subject to its terms shall have noright to engage in any work stoppage, slowdown, or strike, the considerationfor the provision being the right to a resolution of disputed questions.
