SECTION 3-4-7

§ 3-4-7 Waybill or memorandum of shipmentrequired. – Whenever beverages are transported in wholesale quantities as defined in thissection from the place where sold for delivery to the purchaser, the person incharge of the vehicle in which the beverage is transported shall, during thetransportation, have in his or her possession a waybill or a memorandum fromthe seller to the purchaser showing the name and address of the seller and ofthe purchaser and the quantity and character of the beverage sold andtransported. Upon the demand of any of the officers mentioned in this title,the person in charge of the transportation shall exhibit the waybill or thememorandum. The provisions of this section apply to interstate transactionsinsofar as this state, in the exercise of its police powers, may impose them.Any person transporting beverages in violation of this section shall be finednot more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for each offense.
