SECTION 30-27-1

§ 30-27-1 Appropriations for annualencampment of Spanish war veterans. – The general assembly shall annually appropriate such sum as it may deemnecessary to defray the expenses of the annual encampment of the united spanishwar veterans, department of Rhode Island, to be expended under the direction ofthe department of human services or of any other department as the generalassembly shall indicate and direct at any future time; and the controller ishereby authorized and directed to draw orders upon the general treasurer forthe payment of that sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary from time totime, upon the receipt by the controller of proper vouchers approved by thedirector of human services, or such other approving authority as the generalassembly may direct.
