SECTION 31-10-24

   § 31-10-24  Applicants excused from roadtest. – The provisions of § 31-10-22 shall not apply in the case of an applicantwho already has been granted a valid operator's license issued by a state orfederal agency which has a reciprocal agreement with the state of Rhode Islandin the matter of requirements for operator's licenses.Also, § 31-10-22shall not apply when an examiner of the division of motor vehicles is examiningany student of a public or parochial educational institution which offers acourse in driver training education acceptable to the division of motorvehicles, provided that the motor vehicle used by the educational institutionfor driver training education in which the student has received his or herdriver training has been equipped with a dual control.
