SECTION 31-11-2

   § 31-11-2  Driving privileges ofnonresidents. – (a) The privilege of driving a motor vehicle on the highways of this stategiven to a nonresident pursuant to this title shall be subject to suspension orrevocation by the division of motor vehicles in the same manner and for thesame cause as an operator's or chauffeur's license issued pursuant to thistitle may be suspended or revoked.

   (b) The division of motor vehicles is further authorized,upon receiving a record of the conviction in this state of a nonresident driverof a motor vehicle of any offense under the motor vehicle laws of this state,to forward a certified copy of the record to the motor vehicle administrator inthe state where the convicted person is a resident.
