SECTION 31-11-8

   § 31-11-8  Recommendation of court –Violation of § 31-27-4. – (a) The division of motor vehicles shall suspend or revoke the license of ajuvenile to operate a motor vehicle whenever the family court shall recommendthe suspension or revocation, for any period of time as shall be recommended bythe family court.

   (b) The license of any chauffeur or operator of a motorvehicle shall be suspended by the division of motor vehicles for a period fixedby any court of the state, not exceeding six (6) months, after final convictionfor willfully evading or attempting to evade an order to stop by a uniformedpolice officer operating a marked police vehicle, as provided in § 31-27-4.
