SECTION 31-19.3-4

   § 31-19.3-4  License application. –(a) Any person requesting a license under this chapter shall apply for it tothe town council of the town of New Shoreham upon a form specifying anyinformation that the town council shall require. The town council may require,with the application or otherwise, information relating to the applicant'ssolvency, financial standing, insurance coverage, or any other matter which thetown council may deem pertinent to safeguard the public interest, all of whichshall be considered by the council in determining the fitness of the applicantto be licensed pursuant to this chapter.

   (b) The license shall be valid, unless sooner revoked orsuspended, until the end of the calendar year of the year in which issued. Thislicense shall be renewable on or after the first of each year.

   (c) Any license issued by the town council of the town of NewShoreham under provisions of this chapter may set forth:

   (1) The type of vehicle which the licensee is authorized torent or lease.

   (2) The location of the premises from which the licenseholder is authorized to rent or lease the vehicles.

   (3) The total number of motorized bicycles and/or motorizedtricycles which the license holder is authorized to rent or lease.

   (4) The name and address of the license holder.
