SECTION 31-20-3

   § 31-20-3  Stop signs at dangerous railroadcrossings. – The state traffic commission and local authorities with the approval of thestate traffic commission are authorized to designate particularly dangeroushighway grade crossings of railroads and to erect stop signs at thosecrossings. When the stop signs are erected, the driver of any vehicle shallstop within fifty feet (50') but not less than fifteen feet (15') from thenearest rail of the railroad and shall proceed only upon exercising due care.
