SECTION 31-22-18

   § 31-22-18  Newspaper advertisement ofsale. – Every licensed wrecker, after giving notice to the registered owner of themotor vehicle to be sold as prescribed in § 31-22-17, shall advertisenotice of the sale for two (2) consecutive days at least ten (10) days but notmore than fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the sale, in a dailynewspaper of general circulation, the following information:

   (1) A general description of the motor vehicle to be sold,including its make, model, year, color, and motor or serial number;

   (2) The name and address of the registered owner and thelicense plate number, if known, to the wrecker; and

   (3) The place and date of the proposed sale.
