SECTION 31-27.1-1

   § 31-27.1-1  Legislative findings. –The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) estimates thataggressive driving causes two-thirds ( 2/3) of fatal accidents and one-third (1/3) of all accidents. The general assembly finds that aggressive driving hasbecome a significant public safety concern in recent years and specificlegislation designed to severely curtail this problem driving behavior is inthe public interest.
