SECTION 31-33-12

   § 31-33-12  Proof of responsibility forregistration of vehicles for hire. – The division of motor vehicles shall not register any motor vehicle for hire asdefined in chapter 1 of this title until the owner of it shall furnish proof offinancial responsibility.
