SECTION 33-11-15

   § 33-11-15  Petition for filing of latedisallowance. – A personal representative, or any interested party, who has failed to disallowany claim within the time prescribed by § 33-11-14, may at any time beforethe distribution of the estate, if the claim has not been paid, petition theprobate court for leave to disallow the claim out of time. Upon hearing afternotice to all interested parties, the probate court may in its discretion grantleave to disallow the claim out of time upon such terms as the courtprescribes; and if the claim is disallowed within the time fixed by the courtit has the same effect as if disallowed within the time prescribed by §33-11-14.
