SECTION 33-16-11

   § 33-16-11  Certificate of mentalincompetence as evidence of necessity for guardian. – Where a petition is filed for the appointment of a guardian for a mentallyincompetent ward, a certificate of the administrator or his or her dulyauthorized representative, that the person has been rated incompetent by theveterans administration on examination in accordance with the laws andregulations governing the veterans administration, and that the appointment ofa guardian is a condition precedent to the payment of any money due the ward bythe veterans administration, shall be prima facie evidence of the necessity forthe appointment.
