SECTION 33-18-29

   § 33-18-29  Deposit of unclaimed funds incourt – Payment by court. – If money, which a decree of a probate court has ordered to be paid over,remains for six (6) months unclaimed, the executor, administrator, or guardianwho was ordered to pay over the money may deposit it in the registry of theprobate court to accumulate for the benefit of the person entitled to themoney. The person making the deposit shall take the receipt of the probatecourt for the money, and then shall be discharged from all liability as to themoney. When the person entitled to the money deposited satisfies the probatecourt of his or her right to receive the same, the court shall cause it to bepaid over and transferred to him or her, with all accumulations of money.
