SECTION 33-19-2

   § 33-19-2  Terms of mortgages and notes.– A mortgage given by an executor, administrator, or guardian, under leave from aprobate court, may contain such powers of sale, conditions and covenants as areusual in mortgages taken by savings banks in this state. Notes secured by, andcovenants contained in, mortgages given by executors, administrators, andguardians, so far as those notes and covenants are made by the executor,administrator, or guardian as such, shall not bind the executor, administrator,or guardian personally, but only the estate of the deceased or ward.
