SECTION 33-19-26

   § 33-19-26  Authority for lease byguardian. – The probate court which appointed or approved a guardian, upon the petition ofthe guardian, setting forth a description of the real estate which it isproposed to lease, upon hearing, after the notice as the court shall order, mayauthorize the guardian to give a written lease of the real estate or any partthereof, and the decree of the court shall fix the term and the rental, andapprove the form of the lease; provided, that a guardian of a minor shall notlease the real estate of his or her ward beyond the ward's minority.
