SECTION 33-23-14

   § 33-23-14  Modification of decrees afterdiscontinuance of appeal. – In case an appeal shall have been taken from a decree granting letterstestamentary, or of administration with the will annexed, or of administration,or of guardianship, any order or decree of the probate court made previous todiscontinuance of the appeal, prescribing the amount and nature of bonds to begiven by the executor, administrator, or guardian, may, after discontinuance,be modified or vacated, and new orders and decrees may be substituted ifnecessary, and bonds given accordingly; and in case of the modification orvacation of any such former orders or decrees, the bond or bonds giventhereunder may be cancelled and discharged by the probate court.
