SECTION 33-7-12

   § 33-7-12  Compromise of controversiespending probate. – The superior court may authorize the persons named as executors in aninstrument purporting to be the last will of a deceased person, or theadministrator with the will annexed, at any time before a final decreeapproving the instrument as the last will of the deceased person is entered, toadjust by compromise all controversies that may exist or arise concerning thewill.
